What a busy day. I had intended to spend two hours this morning preparing and shipping a package, but it took me much longer than I anticipated and then it occurred to me that I forgot to have Little Monster sign a card…so by the time I was done getting everything ready for the package it was 1:30 pm. During the process of preparing the package I got a message from Mr. B that made me very excited and distracted for the rest of the day.
So, but the time I picked Little Monster up from school the only thing I had accomplished was getting the package prepared. We went straight from school to the post office. I learned that it is much much cheaper to use the flat rate boxes when shipping to APO/FPO addresses ($15 difference with the box I shipped today). I could send 2 flat rate boxes for the price of 1 regular box. The flat rate boxes are free and I can have them delivered straight to my house, which is amazing! (I have a whole stack of Priority Mail boxes in the spare room.)
I felt pretty bad for not getting anything accomplished today so after Little Monster went to bed I settled in and read a whole chapter for my computer class AND took the quiz for the week. Tomorrow and Wednesday I will be busy throughout the mornings and then Little Monster gets out early on Wednesday and Thursday so I am glad I got that finished so early in the week! I am proud of myself and I hope that I can finish my psychology homework early enough that I can get started on reading for next week. I had wanted to be ahead by the end of Spring Break, but I instead decided it was my week to pamper myself.
I didn’t forget and I won’t leave you hanging. Mr. B asked me to start planning a wedding for when he gets home. We never had a wedding and we’ve talked off and on over the last couple of years about planning a ceremony for ourselves, and next year is our 10 year anniversary! We also want to finally take a honeymoon trip. During my distractedness earlier today I found a website that gives a lot of info for second marriages and vow renewals, but I’m not sure if all of that applies since we never had a wedding in the first place? I have plenty of time to figure it out. I am excited.
